    Cheddar Bay Biscuits

TweetI found this recipe for gluten free biscuits that I veganized that were fan-freakin-tastic. I made them for vegan biscuits and gravy and jelly biscuits, they were great. All I did different was followed the instructions but for butter and milk I use vegan butter and unsweetened almond milk. For dinner I decided to make Cheddar Bay Biscuits you know the ones, the ones you get at Red Lobster. Yum double OO!    Those biscuits were so good especially the jelly biscuits, magnifique.  For the cheddar bay I used nutritional yeast along with garlic powder and brushed their tops with butter. They were perfect! I could imagine how good they would…

    Cinnamon Rolls

TweetLet’s take a trip down memory lane. Do you remember walking through a mall and smelling those amazingly ooey gooey cinnamon rolls? Since going vegan and gluten free my husband has been wanting cinnamon rolls. It’s so hard! There are so many recipes out there but trying to find one vegan and gluten free is torture. Gluten free flours are a little more difficult to work with. I have went through so many recipes some were so dry and crumbly and some where just didn’t hold together. But the heavens opened and I found this recipe right here. It wasn’t vegan but I veganized it and it worked out perfectly. …

    Glitter Fabulous

TweetHey so by now most people who have read my blog, saw that I really am into all things cruelty-toxic free. Everything I use is cruelty-toxic free, I love it.  My hair color on the other hand the smell kills me, it smells so chemically. So I after years with fighting the battle, I transitioned to have glitter fabulous hair. I like to say glitter because gray sounds old and dull, and I’m not old and dull. Deciding to have glitter highlights aka natural highlights has been an on going idea of mine. Finally I decided to take it to the next level and be fabulous. I wrote a post awhile ago…

    Chili Cheese Fries

TweetThese were so yummy, they were drool worthy. We just needed a quick dinner so I thought lets just grab a few items from the store and bam! You have yourself some amazingly healthy-ier… for you chili cheese fries. All I did was slice up some potatoes for fries, topped with chili and made some ama-za-zing vegan nacho cheese sauce (which I’ll share the recipe I found) then sprinkled on a few green onions!! Presto pretty quick yummy meal. Click on the pic for details I have a confession to make though! I make my own chili and most the time I freeze single bags of for this sort of…

    Heavenly Coffee Cake

Tweet Coffee cake is like the perfect breakfast for get togethers. My besties and I were going to have breakfast and I thought this would be the perfect time for a Heavenly Coffee Cake. Being vegan and gluten free takes planning on my part, they offered to get together for breakfast and then I offered to make it. A win win there. I really didn’t feel like going to a restaurant and do homework on what is available to me cause let’s face it, it is probably just fruit. Though I do love fruit 😉 I decided I was just going to make them breakfast instead. Now I am one…

    Cookie Chia Overnight Oats

TweetThere is nothing better than having your breakfast already made. All you need to do is just grab it and go. When it’s healthier you that is a plus also. Cookie Chia Overnight Oats is amazing, I cannot tell you how good these are. I get so excited for breakfast. I make 2 at a time because I am not sure how it would hold up after 2 days. Just mix it up and slice a banana on top of my oats. I don’t know about you but I’m in a hurry in the mornings. So I just prepare the night before and wala, just grab and go! I like…

    Vegan Yourself

TweetI have been vegan for almost two years; I could never imagine myself ever going back. Being vegan is different from being vegetarian. Vegetarian’s they don’t eat meat but a vegan does not eat meat or anything derived from animals. So no meat, dairy, eggs or even honey.  I love this plant based life style so much and I love the peace I feel after every meal, so continue to read and I will give you some examples on how to Vegan Yourself.  I believe I was born to be vegan so maybe this is why it was so easy for me but my husband loved the carnivore life. Until,…
